Happy Friday!

Today was a long day, but now it’s the weekend! Sometimes it’s easy for us to put off going to the gym when we’re tired and when we’ve had a long day, but that’s when it’s best to go!

Nathan and I made ourselves go to the gym this evening when I got home from work. We did a quick workout that consisted of lateral arm raises, bicep curls, and triceps extension. We kept with our routine of 4 sets of 8 reps for each exercise. After we did our lifts, we ran and walked laps around the indoor track alternating running and walking each lap. Throughout our workout, we encouraged each other, made jokes, and tried to just enjoy our time together. I guess you could say it was a “gym date”!

After our workout, we came home to rest and catch up with family members. We’re going to bed early to help recover from our workout and also because Nathan has football camp in the morning!
