Hey everyone!

Thank you for the encouragement after my post yesterday! I hope your Monday was great! Sometimes it’s hard to get back to the work week and away from the relaxation of the weekend, but Mondays are the best day to get back to the gym!

Today we did a quick lift session. First, we did dumbbell bench press for 4 sets of 8 reps. Next, we did shrugs for 4 sets of 8 reps. The third exercise we completed was lat pull-downs for 4 sets of 8 reps again. Cardio is definitely not our favorite part of the workout, but it’s really important for your over all fitness! Instead of running in the sun on the football field, we decided to run laps around the track inside by the weight room. This was such a good idea! We alternated running at 75% speed and walking every other lap. We did 10 laps this way which meant we ran for half a mile. That is a huge accomplishment for both of us! Nathan had ACL surgery in January of this year and he was just recently cleared to do full workouts. This weight loss journey is one that we’re both on together.

This is currently my lock screen image. Every time I look at it, I’m reminded that this is a journey and a process. It’s one step at a time and one day at a time.
